Night Noodles

Jalynne M Barnes

The noodles come out in the middle of the night
They see what you’re doin’ wrong and what you’re doin’ right
The noodles watch over you while you’re sleeping
They guard and protect you why the sheep are a-leaping

The noodles prance around in your backyard in the dark
They only play there and never in the park
The noodles watch over you while you’re sleeping
They guard and protect you while the sheep are a-leaping

The noodles don’t sleep at night—only in the morning
Since they’re your friends you shouldn’t eat them without warning
The noodles watch over you while you’re sleeping
They guard and protect you while the sheep are a-leaping
